[The Clown Downstairs]

The bug crawled into his foot...

...and then came out through the neck?! Ewww....... Oh, who am I kidding? That whole damn sequence was cool. I even enjoyed the part where the clown ate the bug and then spat it out through his stomach. The only thing that bothered me is that the clown's face seemed to lack emotion, but I guess it makes sense that a person with a shriveled up skeleton face would show very few facial expressions.

This was actually quite decent.

In spite of what some closed-minded reviewers are saying, I feel like quite a bit of creativity went into this. It's not the most ambitious collab that I have ever seen, but that hardly seems to matter. I think the point of this collab is that it was made just for the simple fun of it, and in my opinion, having fun is the most important thing about making a Newgrounds flash.

Hmmmm.......

Well, I guess it's not completely bad. The artwork was done well. It really does have that "Alien Hominid" look. The voice work was okay, even if it wasn't very loud. I'm not even bothered by the flash being so short. I've seen shorter flashes than this that somehow managed to be quite hilarious. But with that said, I'm afraid that this flash really wasn't all that hilarious. I do admit that the character movements were kind of funny, although not laugh-out-loud funny. The biggest thing that bothers me is that it wasn't really necessary to use "Alien Hominid" characters for this flash. Since the joke doesn't actually have any relation to the game, you could have easily settled with making your own characters for this.

P.S. I played "Alien Hominid" on one of the consoles before, and it really was quite awesome. I wish I had never gotten rid of it.
